TWO DAY INTRODUCTION TO SEA KAYAKING - ANGLESEY
Never tried sea kayaking but think it might be for you? This two-day course covers the foundations to begin your journey toward becoming a confident, independent sea kayaker. You’ll learn paddling technique, boat control, safety and rescue skills, and how to read and respond to your marine environment. Practical coaching and guided practice blended in with theoretical knowledge will ensure you leave a more confident paddler, well on your way to sea kayaking independence.

What to Expect:
Small group to guide ratio
Development of practical skills, paddling technique and boat handling
Gaining a better understanding of your environment, the weather and the sea conditions
Safety and rescue techniques and practise (this will most likely involve getting wet)
Beautiful coastal scenery
Wildlife spotting opportunities - seabirds, seals and occasionally dolphins or porpoise

Beginner paddlers looking to start their sea kayaking journey and develop the appropriate skills
Those looking for a refresher in sea kayaking fundamentals or building confidence in a boat
Timings & Logistics:
We usually aim to meet groups at 9am and return by approximately 3pm, this will vary day to day depending on the weather and tide
Groups meet at venues so you will need your own transportation, we will communicate the location with you the day before
