TWO DAY INTERMEDIATE SEA KAYAKING - ANGLESEY

Anglesey Intermediate Sea Kayaking - 2 Day Course
£185.00

This two-day intermediate sea kayak course is designed for paddlers who are confident in moderate coastal conditions and are looking to refine their technical skills, improve decision-making, and increase their independence on the water. Building on established foundations, the course focuses on developing efficient, adaptable paddling skills that enable you to paddle safely and effectively in more dynamic environments.

Working in a range of moderate to moderately challenging coastal conditions, you'll enhance your stroke efficiency, precision boat handling, edging and manoeuvring techniques, and develop greater confidence when paddling in wind, swell and tidal waters. Emphasis is placed on reading the environment, applying effective journey planning, dynamic risk assessment and tactical decision-making to support safe and efficient travel along the coast.

Through practical coaching, journeys, scenario-based learning and personalised feedback, you'll refine your paddling, strengthen your understanding of the marine environment, and develop the confidence and judgement needed for longer, more committing sea kayak journeys in dynamic coastal environments.

If the dates you are interested in are not listed or fully booked, please feel free to get in touch and we will do our best to accommodate you. Alternatively this course is available on a private basis should you prefer.
